Dr. Ribas is a child psychiatrist and Training Ananlyst with the Paris Psychoanalytic Society. He is the author of “Autism: Debates and Testimonies (2006)”. He is interested in the development of the human psyche in interaction with its carnal and biological roots and its complex interaction with its first love objects. He has incorporated the Anglo-Saxon contributions, particularly those of Bion, the post-Kleinian’s and Winnicott, as well as Freud’s second drive theory helping to broaden the scope of psychoanalytic approach to the issues of psychic life and death in contemporary clinical practice.
