The Enigma of the Other: The Work of Jean Laplanche and the Infinity of the Individual
This full-day Scientific Meeting will offer a comprehensive introduction to the work of Jean Laplanche, one of the most influential interpreters of Freud’s thought. Through five engaging lectures and discussion, participants will explore Laplanche’s contributions to psychoanalytic theory, including the General Theory of Seduction, temporality and identity, the analytic process, and the conditions of psychic freedom.
